Peony Coral Reef

Coral Reef has cupped, slightly frilled and well-rounded petals. The flowers measure about 14cm. The name is saying everything so no surprise that the colour is coral with a red touch and as all corals it fades to cream. Every stems has an average of 3 sidebuds (there can be more). Coral Reef is not the fastest grower but it gets impressive with some years of age, the clumps can get 130cm big. So the plant is tall and wide and leaves have up to 12 lanceolate leaflets that can be up to 13cm long and 4cm wide. Both the stems as the laterals are straight and upright so there is no need for any support. The flowers bloom midseason and are not fragrant, they bloom a couple of days after Coral Charm.  (Text based on the official registration text)
